Incense Burner - adjustable in height, with candle

This beautiful incense burner is suitable for those who prefer not to use charcoal. Burning incense over a candle reduces the amount of smoke that you normally get when placing the incense directly on the lit charcoal. The sift is adjustable in height; the distance between the sift and the flame can be controlled by loosening the wooden knob and then tightening it at the desired height. For example, some harder resins or wood chip would require more heat than softer resins and herbs.

The incense burner is made of brass and dark wood, and comes with a tealight candle. To protect the sift and prevent finer ingredients (like sandalwood powder) from falling through and onto the candle, consider laying a piece of aluminum over the sift.
